CITO Reflection

Everything has abbreviations now. I used to play baseball so there was "ERA" - Earned Run Average and "RBI's" which should be abbreviated "R'sBI" for Runs Batted In. I teach so I have to worry about "NCLB" - No Child Left Behind. My wife said she had a teacher in high school who used to give out "pita" bread to students who behaved poorly. "PITA" that's Pain In The *@#.

Geocaching is no different with its abbreviations. In my humble opinion the most important geocaching abbreviation is CITO - Cache In Trash Out! It is one thing to go to an area and find an ammo-box or a lock-n-lock. It is another thing to write wonderful online logs which the owners can read and tell that you enjoyed your time visiting their cache.
