I actually laughed out load when you had Smokey the Bear say, “Only you can prevent your friends from placing LPC’s.” My kids actually still enjoy the LPC’s but only when they are worn out and can’t walk the trails any longer. Anyway, thanks for the laughs.

Great interview with naturekid and ulf78… I’ve been to Kiel twice when I was in the Navy and I really wish I was Geocaching then, The city is beautiful and really awesome time on one of my visits during the summer when Kieler Woche Festival was going on. As far as restaurants I highly recommend the Kiel Brewery http://www.kieler-brauerei.de/ the schnitzel was awesome.

Hi guys this Thnkoutsidethebox. I have started lisening to your show since I started Geocaching in September of 2010. Resently I have just Reached my mile stone of 100 finds! I was with my Father at a forest perserve in northen Illinios and found the cache named Beverly (GC28). This cache is the first Geocache placed in Illinios in May 2000 I have noticed all the different cachers from all around the world that had come to this historic cahce. My dad and I had lots of fun hiking through the deep snow finding other great caches in the area. Hope your find are great and keep on caching!

There is a picture series of caches in the canyon near my home. It forms the Boy Scout emblem. These are all puzzle caches so it is the posted coordinates that form the picture. I am still working on finding them all. I have the corrected coordinates. I just need to find the time to go grab them.

I have bookmarked all 50 of the caches and made it a public bookmark file.

Good afternoon, we are very new to all this (not geocaching) pod, RSS, ETC. But as I’m siting by the computer reading, and all around stuff, trying to breath as my dogs are (FLUFFING). I really enjoy your talks. Just keep up the good work, Maybe sometime we will meet on the trails or if you come up to the West Bend Cache Ba$h, which is bigger then the MWGB. So far this year we have over 1400 signed up.

It’s an Easter Egg Hunt. Just like the Easter Bunny, someone goes out and hides something for others to find. We just use more sophisticated stuff to find our Easter Eggs.

I generally say, “I’m treasure hunting. People hide objects all over the world and publish the gps coordinates to their locations and people like me go find them. We sign a piece of paper inside then log our find on an international website that keeps track of who has found which caches. It’s tons of fun and I’ve found some really cool places I never knew existed!”

Thanks for another great podcast about geocaching. You guys are awesome! I was so thankful that you promoted Oprah’s Distracted Driver piece. Definately a HOG! My better-half, winstonsdad, thinks I’m making a big deal out of nothing when I worry about him driving while navigating with his 60CSx to a cache. I try to make him let me navigate while we drive. He called me this morning after he listened to today’s show and laughed at himself while agreeing to not do it any more. Thanks for helping me out!

I wanted to share with you how much we love our XShot Camera Extender http://www.xshotpix.com/. My husband and I use it all of the time when we are out caching. Our digital camera has a “flip” screen that we can turn around and see the image before the timer goes off, so we always get great results.
