Positive:
1) Color screen
2) Battery life
3) The geocaching menu feature after you find a cache just click "found it" and the GPS will show you the next closest cache, click go to and you are ready to go.

Negative:
1) I would like to see an always on feature for the backlight. If not always on even a 20 or 30 minute on feature would be nice. The screen is a little hard to read when the backlight is off
2) Memory it comes with 24 MB of internal memory, With memory SD cards being so small a SD slot would be nice or even a bump up to 500 MB's . This would allow for more maps to be stored on the GPS. [update: In my latest Backer magizine, there is an ad from Garmin showing the new models with removable memory. The chips look like they will be programable with downloads or they can be purchased pre-programed.]
3) The little joy stick that is used as an enter button can be touchy sometimes it has to be pushed down just right to have it accept your command. Once you get used to it the joy stick works fine. But an enter button on the side or a flat toggle switch on the front of the unit would be easier to use.
