Positive:
1 ) Long battery life. 2 AA = 10 hours.
2 ) Better antenna. I get fair to good signals even under the cover of trees.
3 ) Faster processor.
4 ) Came with cables and software to hook it up to my computer.

Negative
1) I now think extra memory would be nice for maps and more than 500 waypoints.
2) A built-in compass (the 60s or 60cs) would be very nice when you are stopped.
3) Doesn't float. It is waterproof, but it doesn't want to float.
